Strategic framework

The main planning document of the LVR Fleet is the medium-term operational strategy for 2022-2026. The strategy has been developed in accordance with the provisions of Article 57 of the Law on Governance of Capital Shares of a Public Person and Capital Companies, as well as taking into account the recommendations of the Corporate Governance Code by the Advisory Council of the Ministry of Justice.

LVR Flote is a reliable, stable and experienced company that contributes to the overall competitiveness of Latvian ports with a broad range of services provided.

Vision

To be the highest-quality port technical services provider in Latvia.

Strategy

In accordance with the vision of LVR Fleet, the strategy defines main strategic directions and defines the company’s operational, non-financial and financial goals, which should be attained in the period 2022-2026. The main objectives of the LVR Fleet are:

Strengthening of LVR Fleet’s role in the Latvian port system;
Continuous development of corporate governance and becoming a sustainable and modern company;
Increasing the return on resources.

Detailed actions to achieve the goals are defined in respective action plans for each year.

The limited liability company “LVR Flote” (previously “RIGA FREEPORT FLOTE) is a capital company 100% owned by the Riga Freeport Authority , which was established and registered in the Commercial Register on September 13, 2010.

LVR Fleet was founded with the aim of providing high-quality, safe and versatile services to ships entering the waters of the Freeport of Riga, their owners and agency companies, as well as maintaining the port’s infrastructure.

As the company has grown, LVR Fleet has developed into a versatile port technical service provider. Purposefully implementing the strategy of SIA “RĪGAS BRĪVOSTAS FLOTE”, and in line with the company’s vision – to be the highest quality port technical service provider in Latvia – on November 16, 2022, the company changed its name and brand to SIA “LVR Flote”

LVR Fleet has no participation in other companies.
